If the Windows volume is not NTFS or ReFS, and the volume has no full backup schedule that is configured with the Accelerator forced rescan option, note: NetBackup uses Accelerator forced rescan on every full backup. Sometimes, your HBA vendor has control software that can help- emulex or qlogic have applications you can run in windows that can issue a discovery request.
